The Daisy Sampler is worked in the overlay mosaic crochet method, with the pattern being mainly in chart form, which comes with associated keys and is written in UK terms. This design is a great first project for a beginner as it has assoicated video tutorials at each step.

The pattern is written for Aran/Worsted weight yarn with a 5mm hook. You can of course choose to work in whatever yarn you wish, though that may change the finished dimensions of your product. I used six colours in this version. The five soft colours of light brown, fog, wheat, light grey and pearl grey are pared alongside the base colour of off-white, but of course you can go off piste and work in as many or as little colours as you wish.
