Jamie is part of the Santa Cruz collection and is named after my son as he requested a floor cushion to match his Santa Cruz throw. It is worked in the overlay mosaic crochet method, with the pattern being mainly in chart form, which comes with associated keys and is written in UK terms. This design is a fantastic stepping stone from your first mosaic crochet creation and again uses those two easy stitches you will be familiar with from your first foray into the mosaic crochet world.

Jamie is a square cushion pattern which can be made up in two different sizes; either as a scatter cushion or a floor cushion.

Scatter cushion size is 46cm square and the floor cushion is 67cm square.

The pattern is written for Aran/Worsted weight yarn with a 5mm hook. You can of course choose to work in whatever yarn you wish, though that may change the finished dimensions of your product. I used one base colour with three contrasting colours for the scatter cushion and added an extra colour for the floor cushion, but of course you can go off piste and work in as many or as little colours as you wish.
