If you want to use the same yarn and colourway that I did, you will find a yarn pack over at "Wool Warehouse".
Welcome to daisyknots Mosaic Sampler Crochet A Long
Our CAL is going to be worked in overlay mosaic crochet which I was introduced to earlier this year and when I first saw this type of crochet I was immediately struck by how dense the fabric was and how it resembled more of a chunky knit or woven fabric. After creating a sample of the wonderful apache tears and realizing how easy and rewarding it was to work, I was hooked. So much so that I challenged myself to create my own patterns and the Mosaic Sampler CAL was born.
The instructions for this CAL are mostly in chart form with any extra information required included in a key below the chart. If you don’t know how to work mosaic crochet or are unsure how to read the charts check out the video on daisyknots YouTube channel which explains how to read the all important chart and also shows you how to get started with this wonderful type of crochet.
If you are unsure what colour way you want for your afghan, visit the gallery, which is displaying the work of some of our testers, where you will get loads of inspiration from their colour choices or use the tag #mosaicsamplercal where you can see many more sampler colours.
You will find all the information you require regarding yarn amounts and how to get started in the introduction to the CAL which can be downloaded below.
Please respect the many, many hours that have gone into designing and testing this patten by myself and my amazing testers.
Please do not copy, amend or use any part of this pattern in any form.
